The 2 seats on the front might be a little uncomfortable for tall people. If you have additional space requirements you may want to book a van for no more than 6 or 7 people.
    • minibus (up to 19 people) or  bus (up to 50+ people). May have restricted access to sites.

Exclusions

- Entrance tickets to Museums or Archeological sites are not included.
- Official Licensed Guide service. We can provide the service of an official Licensed guide upon request (additional cost).

Professional Driver Role

A driver is not an official guide. Local regulations require that only official licensed guides are allowed to provide information about sites and escort people through monuments, churches and museums. The widespread use of the term “driver-guide” is misleading. See this article describing the problem in the New York Times.

Changes and Cancellations

In order to receive a refund (or adjustment of price in case of changes), we need to receive your changes or cancelation  7 calendar days before the scheduled departure. For changes or cancelation received within 7 calendar days of the tour date you will be charged a 100% cancelation fee (no refund, nor downward price adjustments).

Group Guidelines and Conditions:

The group leader (person making the booking) shall be deemed to have accepted the following conditions on behalf of the persons traveling with him/her. He/She is also responsible for passing any relevant information received from SmartCruiseTours travel assistants as well as all issued travel vouchers to each group participants.
  • Whenever a participant departs from the group during the tour, establish a meeting point location and time.
  • If a participant gets temporarily lost, they must remain still and contact SmartCruiseTours emergency number (shown below). Making a phone call in Italy is easy as any Italian will provide assistance with that if asked.
  • Balance due at travel time is per group and not per person. All participants must respect their commitment to the group and need to provide their share if they cannot participate at the last minute or must be responsible for finding people to replace their slots (not applicable for tours that are prepaid).
  • If less people than the number indicated at booking time arrive at travel time, the group must provide advance payment to the driver (not applicable for tours that are prepaid).

SmartCruiseTours Emergency Number: your travel vouchers include our Emergency Number and other important local contact. SmartCruiseTours.com  (owned and operated by ABLE worldwide Inc) will not be held responsible for any problem that may arise if you do not follow the instructions on your Vouchers, or if you do not call the appointed Emergency Number in case of difficulties at travel time.
