A walking tour of Ancient Rome's major sights and skip the queues for the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. Several major sites are covered in just three hours and without wasting time waiting in line.
You will begin your tour and you will skip the long lines and gain special access to the Colosseum. Once inside, you will travel through the bloody past of the amphitheater. The Flavian Amphitheatre, universally called the Colosseum, is surely the most imposing monument of Ancient Rome still standing today: in all of its magnificence, its arches that follow one another, allowing you to glimpse the Roman sky.
After a brief rest at the Arch of Constantine, you will arrive at the Palatine Hill, the most famous of the seven hills of Rome. It is the first of seven historic hills in Rome: here, according to tradition, Romulus founded the Eternal City and many Roman emperors wanted to construct their palaces at this site. From here there is an incredible panoramic view of the city.
Next, you will skip the long lines and gain special access to the Roman Forum. It was the center of public life in Rome for more than a millennium, as the first political, religious and commercial nucleus of the city. Though it's no larger than a plaza, it was fundamentally important in the history of the world. Walking around, your gaze will embrace the beauty and mystery hidden in the triumphal arches, in the colonnades, in the ancient facades of the Imperial Fora, built between the 1st and 2nd century A.C., when the emperors gave life to various monumental plazas, which they eponymously named.
After the visit at the Roman Forum, you will start the next visit, the Marmetine Prison. It is the structure used since the era of kings as a maximum security prison of the Roman state. The itinerary will give you the one-of-a-kind possibility to visit a place with ancient roots with an avant-garde experience.
